KLA Music

Wednesday, October 20, 2004
Back in the days when I DJed at KLA, the radio station at UCLA, in 1983 I was not particular fond of the "new wave" music they were playing at the time. Fast forward 20 years later, the following songs I used to hate playing can now be heard on my station:
  • "Flavor Crystals" by Suburban Lawns
  • "Change" by Tears for Fears
  • "Feels like Heaven" by Fiction Factory

One of the few records I enjoyed playing back then was an advance copy then of U2's "Pride (in the Name of Love)". I still love it today.
