We are the only station where you can hear...

Thursday, December 30, 2004

No lie - you won't find these songs played at any non-comedy stations:

  • "You Look Mahvelous" by Billy Crystal, and
  • "Rappin' Rodney" by Rodney Dangerfield

Rodney was on just five minutes ago.

Holiday Roundup

Ok, so the station went All-Christmas from the 24th to the 26th - anyone caught it? Two songs then a jingle, commercial-free. Five lines of programming. That's it.

Now we are back to normal, pre-Christmas, except for a New Year-themed song that's on Heavy up to New Year's Day. It's Vonda Shepard's "What are you doing New Year's Eve". Catch it every 2 1/2 hours during the day.

Happy New Year.

Christmas Music

More Christmas music in the rotation starting next week, and then maybe all Christmas Christmas weekend.

Christmas Music and Other Adds

Wednesday, December 01, 2004
Finally got around to program for Christmas this past weekend. Currently there are at least two Christmas songs per hour, except during 80's Lunch (I think). Took out "My Favorite Year" group to make space for the Christmas songs.

Bought the new U2 CD - it's got a lot of great songs. When I get around to it I'll probably put one or two more tracks in Heavy Rotation.

Also coming soon hopefully, another track by Muse.
